Hartsville, TN Job Summary:

The Account Representative will be responsible for learning and promoting a technical product line that is sold to manufacturing companies throughout the U.S., primarily involved in the HVAC/R industry.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

An aptitude to understand the design and application of existing and future products and how they are manufactured by the company. Ability to incorporate technical knowledge into the selling process so as to become a resource to the customer, thereby creating value with sales visits and regular communications. Must exhibit the ability to develop long-term value relationships with accounts and evaluate new opportunities that are developing in the market. Candidate must have experience selling a technical product line and being an interface between customers and factory operations, demonstrating the ability to work with factory lead times, customer schedules, and new product development launches. Should be able to travel up to 50% of the time, throughout the U.S. with a combination of reoccurring assigned accounts (approximately 85%) and new prospective accounts (approximately 15%). Candidate should have a history of progressive selling capabilities and achievements. Preferably a degree in business, engineering, or science, with experience in account and territory management.
