Job Description
Role:
Responsible for supporting various marketing activities and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of promotional initiatives and maintaining effective communication across departments.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Fulfill branch requests for promotional items on a daily basis. Order replacement items to keep the marketing closet well-stocked and maintain and organize the print room. Assist Business Development, Community Engagement, and Marketing teams as needed in organizing and executing events. Serve on internal committees and coordinate department events and recognition. Attend and represent at relevant community events. Process and issue checks for branch ads and ensure timely payment processing. Update and track annual branch budgets to align with the department budget. Coordinate the Bass Cash program including incentive logistics, promotional material and collaborate with the Accounts Payable department to issue payments. Identify and promote location-specific events to highlight on branch screens. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate related efforts. Schedule appointments and manage departmental calendars. Process all gift card orders for the marketing department efficiently. Maintain inventory and manage all printed marketing materials. Includes tracking signage placement and process payments to schools for marketing exposure across markets. Coordinate and maintain member engagement campaigns related to members, such as reward points and referral programs. Provide support for video production and photography needs. Perform all other jobs as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
Maintain branch screens with current events and job openings. Help maintain department spending within the approved budget. Efficiently coordinate promotional events to all members and staff in an effective and timely manner. Keep management informed of any potential issues or concerns. Ensuring overall department organization, keeping marketing areas tidy and clear of unfiled items.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience
- One year to three years of similar or related experience Education
- A high school education or GED. Interpersonal Skills
- Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Other Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant marketing software. Capable of working independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. Solid understanding of marketing principles and best practices. Physical Requirements
- Moderate lifting required. Must be able to lift boxes/totes. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Work Environment
- Must be able to attend marketing events outside of normal working hours as needed.
