weeks ago The Pensacola Ice Flyers are seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing Coordinator to lead and execute marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, drive attendance, support corporate partnerships, and foster deeper community engagement. This full-time role reports to the Director of Marketing and Operations and is critical to the success of our games, events, and overall brand presence in Pensacola and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement internal marketing plans to promote Ice Flyers games, theme nights, and special events.
Manage external advertising campaigns across TV, radio, print, digital, and outdoor media.
Oversee all digital content including website updates, mobile app content, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok), and email marketing campaigns.
Create and schedule engaging social media content including graphics, videos, and live coverage.
Collaborate with game operations staff to market in-game promotions, contests, and special presentations.
Coordinate event marketing for off-site appearances, sponsorship activations, and community events.
Support community relations marketing initiatives, including player appearances, charity events, and fan engagement programs.
Assist with the fulfillment of corporate sponsorship contracts, ensuring that all deliverables are met across digital, in-arena, and event platforms.
Work closely with sales and sponsorship teams to align marketing efforts with revenue goals and partnership expectations.
Track and analyze marketing performance, adjusting tactics to maximize effectiveness.
Maintain brand standards and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Contribute to the strategic planning of theme nights, revenue-generating initiatives, in-game entertainment, and community outreach programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sports Management, or a related field.
2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or events.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, and email marketing tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with strong organizational and project management abilities.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
Ability to commit to all Ice Flyers game days and special events, with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays during the season.
Preferred Skills:
Passion for sports and fan engagement.
Photography, video editing, or graphic design experience.
Knowledge of CRM systems and ticketing platforms.
Familiarity with corporate sponsorship fulfillment and reporting.
