POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator at United Against Poverty helps us to break the cycle of poverty by raising awareness in the community around UP programs and impact through creating and executing the campus marketing strategy. The Marketing Coordinator will have the opportunity to work across various marketing channels, gaining experience in print and digital collateral development, email, social, videography, website management, and special projects.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Create videos, shorts, social media posts and email blasts to raise awareness and generate interest in our programs. Manage Indian River Campus social media accounts and create and execute marketing campaigns. Record and report monthly marketing analytics. Assist in developing and executing a social media strategy. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio) across various social media platforms. Monitor, listen, and respond to community feedback on social media while cultivating engagement and expanding the community’s reach. Develop and implement social media advertising campaigns. Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies as needed to enhance engagement and reach to our audiences. Stay current on industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activities. Assist with other marketing and promotional activities as necessary. Assist with all other ad-hoc department projects as needed.

- Experience with digital marketing, videography and social media campaigns.
- Effective decision making and problem-solving skills are a must.
- Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 2-4 years’ experience in a Marketing Coordinator position or similar.
PHYSICAL WORK REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to sit, stand and move frequently throughout the day and for long periods of time. Will be exposed to members of the public on a regular basis.
