Belleview, FL 34420 We are currently seeking individuals that have experience in Event Production. This role requires manual labor focusing on the physical setup and breakdown of the event. Tasks include lifting, carrying, assembling, and disassembling equipment. This role may also involve helping with guest logistics, ensuring smooth venue flow, and providing basic support to event organizers. This job will be in Ocala at the Florida Horse Park.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up and tearing down event spaces: This includes tasks like assembling tables, chairs, and other event equipment.
Loading and unloading equipment:
Moving equipment into and out of the venue, often involving physical labor and potentially working with heavy lifting.
Stage and lighting setup:
Assisting with the preparation of stages, lighting, and sound systems for the event.
Assisting with event logistics:
Helping with guest flow, seating arrangements, and general event support.
Other manual tasks:
This may include tasks like setting up decorations, arranging signage, or maintaining the event space.
Additional Skills and Requirements:
Physical stamina and strength: The ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods of time.
Teamwork and communication:
Working collaboratively with other staff members and following instructions from event organizers.
Attention to detail:

Properly using and transporting event equipment.

We are also looking for several event cashiers who will be responsible for managing transactions, scanning items, collecting payments, and providing customer service. Responsibilities also include handling returns and exchanges, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining a clean checkout area.

Managing Transactions:
Operating a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
Scanning and Pricing:
Accurately scanning items and ensuring correct pricing.
Payment Collection:
Collecting payments from customers, providing change, and issuing receipts.
Customer Service:
Greeting customers, answering questions, and providing assistance.
Cash Balancing:
Balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts and ensuring accuracy of transactions.
Maintaining Checkout Area:
Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and free of clutter.
Other Duties:
Assisting with other tasks as assigned, such as stocking shelves or cleaning the area.
