Event Setup & Breakdown Crew AJ Ballrooms Redlands LLC Homestead, FL 33031 The Event Setup and Breakdown Crew is responsible for the efficient setup and breakdown of events. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to ensure that events run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Breakdown:

Begin cleaning event spaces as soon as guests leave the premises. Dismantle and pack down all equipment and materials post-event. Ensure that all rented or borrowed items are returned and that the venue is left in good condition. Assist in the transportation of equipment and supplies back to storage.

Event Setup:

Assist in the preparation and organization of event spaces according to specifications. Set up tables, chairs, stages, and other event-related equipment. Ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are available and in good condition. Collaborate with event coordinators to follow layout plans.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with fellow crew members and event staff to achieve efficient results. Communicate effectively with team leaders regarding progress and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in event setup, production, or similar roles is preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

Working Conditions:

Work may take place indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical labor is a key component of the job, requiring stamina and endurance.
