- ROLE Summary
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Performance Executive to join our Digital Marketing team.
This exciting role will support the Senior Performance Manager in managing and optimizing PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and other platforms for Merlin’s UK portfolio of attractions. The Performance Executive will play a key role in executing daily campaign activities, performance analysis, and optimisation efforts to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.

Campaign Execution & Support:
- + •Support in the execution of Paid Media campaigns, including ad creation, keyword research, and campaign structure setup.
- + •Ensure timely delivery of campaigns and monitor them for performance across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and others.
- + •Support in managing budgets and bids, ensuring efficient allocation and spend tracking.
- + •Support in the briefing of campaign planning in our external agencies•
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- + Regularly monitor and report on Paid campaign performance, providing recommendations to improve CTR, conversion rates, and ROAS.
+ Implement changes based on performance insights, optimising keyword targeting, ad copy, and landing pages. + Assist in A/B testing initiatives to refine ad copy, bidding strategies, and landing page design. + Assist in preparing reports and performance analysis, sharing insights with internal teams and stakeholders.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- + Work closely with the SEO, Social, content and marketing teams to ensure that Paid Media campaigns align with broader marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
+ Stay informed of industry trends and best practices, supporting the Senior Performance Manager with ideas and suggestions for optimising campaigns and improving customer engagement. + Conduct competitor analysis to identify new keyword opportunities and gaps in the current strategy. + Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new Paid Media strategies and initiatives, supporting the continuous improvement of customer experience and ROI.

Experience & Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in PPC or Paid Media campaign management, with a solid understanding of Google Ads and/or Meta.
You should be comfortable with performance analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) and have the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Strong attention to detail, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. You should also possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with a passion for digital marketing.
