The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between our medical office and referring physicians, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to enhance patient care. The physician liaison/marketer is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers, and key stakeholders in the medical community. This role focuses on promoting the orthopedic practice’s services, educating the community and physicians about the practice’s specialties, and driving patient referrals. The liaison will represent the practice in a professional manner, emphasizing quality care and patient outcomes while increasing brand awareness and market share. This role also requires a strong understanding of clinical practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of healthcare relationships. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and their staff to drive volume growth and retention Collaborate with third-party consultants to align marketing and branding efforts with Hands-On Orthopedics & Injury Center’s objectives, ensuring all marketing goals are met within budget. Support, implement, and contribute to the development of marketing plans and forecasts aimed at achieving goals set by Hands-On Orthopedics & Injury Center’s administrator and physician. Organize and coordinate events such as lunches, meet & greets, continuing medical education sessions, and other networking opportunities for physicians. Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care. Manage and nurture partnerships with hospital liaisons. Collaborate with doctors, clinical teams, and operational staff to ensure smooth communication and support for marketing and outreach efforts. Visit referring physician offices with company information and promotional materials to foster effective referral relationships. Analyze referral patterns and the competitive landscape to develop and execute an efficient canvassing strategy, leveraging an existing database of targeted physicians. Coordinate and deliver professional presentations for in-services, seminars, open houses, tours, videos, and group meetings. Work closely with management, physicians, and staff to resolve issues, enhance understanding of services, meet customer expectations, and increase referrals. Ensure effective communication with referring offices, including conflict resolution, relationship building, and compliance. Represent Hands-On Orthopedics & Injury Center at health fairs, medical symposia, business events, and medical society meetings. Oversee new physician marketing and introductions, both internally and externally. Manage and maintain physician profiles for social media and hospital affiliations. Perform other duties as assigned. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive patient information.

Territory Area:

This position will be covering the following counties: Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Hernando. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field and 1-2 years of related work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying. A valid Florida Driver’s License is also required, and the flexibility to work some evenings and weekends. Able to work independently in the field, collaboratively with staff, the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, demonstrated sales and customer service skills, strong analytic skills, and organizational skills. Confidence in public speaking skills to conduct interviews on camera. The ability to partner with other organizations to work together effectively. Demonstrated competency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word, and the ability to prioritize, exercise excellent judgment, all while remaining current on relevant changes within the healthcare environment.
