Position Overview:

As our Admissions & Marketing Coordinator , you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that increase admissions, enhance community engagement, and strengthen our brand presence . You will oversee all aspects of the admissions process , including pre-admission, admission, discharge, and follow-up activities , while managing referral coordination and approval processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining an effective and engaging social media presence to showcase our unique approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all admission activities, including pre-admission, admission, discharge, and follow-up processes. Coordinate resident/patient referral and approval processes. Develop and implement strategies to maximize resident admissions in line with facility and regional sales plans. Conduct external marketing of the facility within the community through health providers and organizations. Market the facility’s services to the managed care industry, including participating in contract closings and price negotiations with insurance companies, hospitals, etc. Oversee the facility’s social media footprint, ensuring appropriate and timely use of social media tools as per facility protocol. Collaborate with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage word-of-mouth referrals. Participate in corporate trade shows, health fairs, and other marketing activities as assigned. Conduct tours of the facility for potential residents/patients and their family members. Track pre-admission referral activity daily and weekly. Manage admission arrangements and confirm all admissions, notifying facility departments of anticipated admissions. Complete admission packets and/or contracts in accordance with facility protocol. Ensure specialized equipment is ordered as needed and review contract content for prior approval from authorized payers. Obtain level of care approval as indicated and ensure OBRA screen (PASSAR, MIMR) is completed. Assist with acquiring necessary Medicaid pending documentation as needed. Conduct monthly marketing meetings with facility leadership to identify growth opportunities. Market to other healthcare providers to identify and onboard physicians, specialists, etc. Complete records and documentation in accordance with company policy and state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in admissions coordination and marketing within a healthcare setting. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans. Proficiency in using social media tools effectively. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation requirements. Ability to work collaboratively with community agencies and healthcare providers. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
