Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities
Coordinate meetings, rehearsals, and logistics for the Statesboro team
Assist in fundraising activities Assist in marketing and promotional activities Assist in the creation of the team’s event agenda, presentation, and booth
Attend the National Civic League’s All-America Cities competition in Denver Shift Specifics Up to 25 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Working on an MPA or similarly related degree. Preferred Experience Familiarity with the National Civic League’s All-America Cities competition. Strong relationships within the Statesboro/Bulloch County community Skills Event and logistics planning Local community fundraising Event marketing and promotion Experience Experience with event planning and logistics Experience with fundraising in a small community
Experience in event marketing and promotion Proposed Salary $15.50 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. Required Documents to Attach
