Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Assist the business development team with tradeshow/conference attendance and help represent the company at A/E/C industry events
- Create and maintain marketing plans and calendars and ensure activities are executed in a timely manner
- Create sales opportunities for future events during client liaisons and during events, including possessing a strong working knowledge of the company to further these sales opportunities
- Work with the sales and marketing team on optimizing the tradeshow/conference set-up
- Responsible for managing company donations and giveaways
- Handle event budgeting and invoicing
- Participate in and contributing to team meetings, strategic, and corporate planning
- Help coordinate in-person continuing education marketing seminars including catering, seminar prep, speaker management, and overall seminar maintenance
- Manage and oversee events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organizing vendors
- Help coordinate marketing collateral management, ordering, and distribution
- Assist the Community Outreach team with volunteering opportunities and event coordination
- Assist with coordination of the company Open House event
- Assist with internal company events, catering, and purchasing
- Manage schedule and distribute tickets for client entertainment options
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field is preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Intermediate level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Excellent organization skills and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently, as well as in team environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues verbally, virtually, and in writing.
