Turley Publications is looking for an outgoing, energetic person interested in selling advertising for our community newspapers. The right candidate will assume an established territory with a portfolio of customers. You must be a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills are required. Previous print sales experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate Duties Conduct cold calling to identify and engage potential clients. Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while generating new business opportunities. Analyze client needs and provide tailored advertising solutions that meet their objectives. Collaborate with the sales management team to strategize on sales approaches and market trends. Track sales activities, manage customer accounts, and report on performance metrics. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote our services. Requirements Proven experience in inside sales or direct sales, preferably within the newspaper advertising industry. Strong cold calling skills with a track record of successful lead generation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients. Ability to analyze market trends and client needs to propose effective solutions. Experience in newspaper advertising sales is a plus, but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively. A self-motivated individual who is goal-oriented and eager to succeed in a competitive environment.
