POSITION SUMMARY

_

• The Category Marketing Specialist leads small to medium scale projects and executes new and existing activities that support overall marketing strategy. As well as analysis and execution of marketing strategies.
• _

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

_

• + Manages projects through development and execution of project plans, timelines, and profit/loss analysis.

Manages project expenses to budget. + Works with cross functional teams to develop creative and copy to support projects, oversee communication plan to customers and integration with brand management strategies. + Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external partners through regular, proactive communication. Coordinate and execute training on projects. + Knowledgeable of industry and market trends to identify new opportunities to drive incremental business and customer engagement. + Analyzes existing marketing strategies to identify opportunities to enhance customer acquisition, activation, and retention. Create and review reports and analysis to determine how key business drivers can be manipulated through marketing programs and/or enhanced operations. + ALL

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree Required:

Bachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent. +

Experience:

2+ years or more of experience as Specialist; 4+ years of experience as Planner

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• + Proven project management or knowledge around different project management practices + Analytical mindset with the ability to dig into successes and opportunities for future projects.

+ Strong communication (written and verbal), mediation (conflict resolution) and facilitation skills. + Demonstrates personal initiative and willingly assumes responsibility and ownership. + Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers. + Customer focused behavior relating to our mission statement of helping people to enjoy, love and conserve the great outdoors. + Research mindset to self-educate on latest marketing trends related to product lane. + Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software
