Marketing & Communications Coordinator 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 4701 Stockholm Court, Charlotte, NC 28273 Job purpose Tryon Distributing is seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support a variety of growing marketing, communications, and administrative initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills who can manage multiple on-going projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining Tryon’s digital presence, coordinating marketing campaigns, and supporting internal and external initiatives. Tryon Distributing is a leading wholesale beer and wine distributor based in North Carolina, proudly representing a curated portfolio of local, national, and international brands. We’re passionate about bringing great beverages to market and supporting our supplier and retail partners with outstanding service and strategic promotion. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support our brand presence across digital channels, strengthen customer engagement, and help our marketing efforts flow as smoothly as the products we represent. Summary The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Director of Culture and Communications in the following areas: Internal and external communications, social media, ecommerce, website maintenance, event coordination, and brand campaign execution. This role is perfect for someone with a strong marketing foundation, excellent communication skills, and a creative yet organized approach to project management. Duties and responsibilities Social Media Management Manage Tryon’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Plan, develop, and schedule 1-3 engaging posts per week Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner Share supplier-generated content when appropriate Create original content as needed Website Maintenance Update and maintain website content across all sections Ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with marketing goals Summarize and report on meaningful website traffic analytics Email Management Monitor and manage the general Tryon email account Review all incoming correspondence and direct inquiries appropriately Respond to emails professionally and promptly as necessary Brand Campaign Support Assist in planning and executing internal and external campaigns, product launches, and other promotional activities Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and reports on key metrics Email Marketing & Customer Outreach Help design and execute targeted email campaigns to engage existing customers and promote key initiatives Assist in the development of customer newsletters featuring product updates, industry insights, and company news Print Projects & Design Support Provide light graphic design support for print and digital assets as needed Work with professional graphic designer to execute marketing materials as needed Coordinate print jobs with print shops, sales team, and suppliers Ensure timely production and pickup of printed materials eCommerce Platforms Oversight Serve as the liaison between Tryon and external sales platforms (Provi & DSD Link) Maintain and update marketplace listings to drive internal sales goals Coordinate with platform representatives and troubleshoot issues as necessary Event Support (As Needed) Provide logistical and marketing support for Tryon-hosted events such as trade shows, awards shows, and internal office gatherings. Other (As Needed) Handle other assignments as needed by the Director of Culture & Communications Some in-state travel will be required as necessary Qualifications

REQUIRED

College degree in marketing, communications, or similar subject preferred 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools Basic graphic design skills (Canva preferred) Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/365 Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively Familiarity with email marketing platforms and website CMS preferred Knowledge of beer and/or wine industry is preferred Working conditions The employee will perform work in these areas: Might require – In vehicle while in route to customer locations Customer/Client locations The noise level in these areas is normally moderate.
