You will be creatively responsible for the graphic design, writing, layout, and deployment/production of MHI print and digital marketing and communications materials and content. This includes support for MHI’s social media content (including blog), email planning, and marketing automation campaigns. Supports and executes content development and content management for print, digital, web, mobile, and social (including blog). You’ll be writing and designing marketing and communications materials for print and digital production. Specific Duties Design and deploy marketing and communications materials that align with MHI branding and event promotions. Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns including email, social media, and advertising in platforms such as Marketo and Knak. Support MHI’s and WERC’s social media channels and blogs through planning, content development, scheduling, and performance tracking. Collaborate with internal teams to develop content for websites, blogs, and email communications. Write and edit marketing content, including articles, blog posts, press releases, and campaign copy. Design infographics and multimedia campaign (print and digital) assets in line with campaign needs. Attend Knowledge, WERC, and MHI Industry Group Marketing Committee meetings and support promotion of group content and events as necessary. Manage updates to MHI.org and associated show sites; post news, content, and press releases. Assist in the promotion of WERC, Knowledge, Industry Leadership, and Connections value center programs. Track and report digital marketing performance, including analytics for email, web, and social media. Maintain MHI’s media database and facilitate communication with media outlets and partners. Support advertising coordination, including trafficking, tracking, and exhibitor communications. Assist with the production of promotional materials, including print and electronic assets. Successful Candidates will have the following skills and competencies: Graphic design and digital production (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Basic HTML and CMS familiarity Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Experience in social media platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube Email marketing and marketing automation (Marketo, Knak, Listrak, Constant Contact) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Print production and ad traffic coordination Customer service orientation and team collaboration Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; 2-3 years of marketing and communications experience The Material Handling Industry (MHI) has created a dynamic environment in which employees genuinely care about shared successes and can apply their skills and talents to work that is purposeful, meaningful, challenging, and rewarding.
