Web Marketing Coordinator 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 217 South Main Street, Salisbury, NC 28144 Web & Marketing Coordinator Your Career, Your Community An employee in this class is responsible for artistic creativity with an understanding of the City of Salisbury and its unique needs, translating complex information into visually appealing and informative materials. The position creates content for a wide range of purposes, including public awareness, community engagement, and service announcements, often using a variety of media like print, digital, and presentations. Responsibilities include planning, designing, developing, and maintaining the City’s intra and internet web sites, aiding with user departments on web page design, evaluation, and publishing information submitted by site users. Work includes creating and maintaining the City’s intra- and inter-net web sites; designing, developing, and documenting changes; implementing new web technologies; and troubleshooting site problems. The employee also develops and manages branding standards and marketing for the city and all departments, including the monthly newsletter, advertising, brochures, flyers, branding, and logos. The employee must exercise initiative, creativity, and independent judgment in all phases of work. Work is performed under the supervision of the Community Engagement Director and is evaluated through conferences, observations, and feedback. Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in web development, marketing, public or business administration, or related field and considerable experience in marketing and website content management and programming with a portfolio of creative work; or equivalent combination of education and experience . • Valid NC Driver’s License or if out-of-state the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Considerable experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and Dotnetnuke preferred.

July 5, 2025 Salary range: $57,151.31- $81,726.38 (Depending on Experience) $2,000.00 sign-on bonus to be paid as a one-time lump sum after the completion of a successful probationary period.
