Position Summary This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with drive, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven sales mindset to manage and grow business in both new and established territories on behalf of MCSP. The Sales and Marketing Representative will be responsible for sustaining and expanding MCSP’s topical sinus therapy and specialty compounding business by developing and maintaining positive relationships with health providers and their administrative staff who refer patients to MCSP. The ideal candidate will identify and engage potential referral sources while fostering existing relationships through strategic, relationship-based sales initiatives. This role will require leveraging sales expertise to design, implement, and execute innovative strategies aimed at promoting MCSP’s products within the assigned territory. Networking, building relationships, and educating referral sources (e.g., universities, hospitals, private practices) about MCSP’s compounded products will be central to this role. This position requires the ability to travel, including overnight trips, for conferences, training, and territory visits. While initial travel expectations are limited, they may increase as the representative establishes deeper relationships and builds territory traction, potentially up to several overnight trips per month. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Develop and maintain a deep understanding of MCSP’s products, services, disease states, competitive landscape, and target markets. Identify, qualify, and nurture leads and opportunities through strategic planning and relationship building. Develop and execute a territory sales plan to maximize the growth of business opportunities from existing clients and new prospects. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key providers and referral sources through calls, emails, in-person meetings, and group presentations. Analyze providers’ needs and utilize a consultative, solution-oriented approach to align MCSP’s products with their objectives. Promote MCSP’s products and educate providers on their benefits through both individual and group engagement opportunities. Plan, organize, and attend local and national meetings, conferences, and trade shows, including setting up exhibits to promote MCSP’s brand and product lines. Track and report daily activities, sales calls, territory expenses, and other required reports within assigned deadlines. Provide feedback on marketing materials, sales tools, and client communications to ensure alignment with market needs and business goals. Contribute to the creation of marketing materials such as newsletters and collaborate on digital and social marketing campaigns. Uphold and represent MCSP’s values, business standards, and mission with professionalism and integrity. Support day-to-day business operations as needed to advance company goals and priorities. Physical Requirements The following physical abilities are required to successfully perform the essential duties of this position: Ability to sit for extended periods while performing administrative tasks such as data entry, report preparation, and other office-related functions. Ability to stand, walk, or remain active during in-person meetings, territory visits, or when representing MCSP at conferences or client events. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, as necessary, for materials, supplies, or event preparation. Ability to climb stairs and navigate uneven surfaces as part of day-to-day territory travel and client engagement. Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely during both local and long-distance travel. Work Conditions and Travel Requirements This role involves a mix of office-based responsibilities and field-based (outside sales) activities. Frequent use of a computer, smartphone, and other office technology is expected. Overnight travel, potentially up to several nights per month, will be required for territory visits, conferences, client events, and other business needs.
