We are currently seeking a Staff Marketing & Events Coordinator 2 who enjoys collaborating with many different stakeholders and is excited to work with the Marketing team to coordinate a companywide events program, including hosted events, sponsorships, exhibit booths, and speaking opportunities. You are an extremely organized self‐starter with exceptional attention to detail and enjoy the variety and pace of juggling several projects at once. This is a temporary, part-time position located virtually in conjunction with our Raleigh, NC office.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will: Coordinates H&A’s events program from beginning to end, working closely with marketing team members and other internal stakeholders including H&A’s market and service leaders and subject matter experts, as well as external constituents, suppliers, and vendors.
Partner with internal stakeholders to research and determine H&A participation in the right events to achieve goals, as well as the right level of involvement.
Maintain a rolling calendar of events and track pertinent information pertaining to each event accordingly including goals, logistical details, budget, and ROI.
Manage all elements of H&A’s participation in events, including booth logistics and materials, promotional activities, presentation content review and design, poster and presentation production and shipping, and client dinner planning. Track feedback (i.e., what went well, what did not) and ROI from events participation, appropriately capture input, and adjust future efforts based on input.
Identify and manage events budgets/costs as needed.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in a B2B marketing and events coordination role, preferably at a professional services organization.
Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
Proactive self-starter who enjoys and excels at managing multiple projects at once.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as MS Teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships within a virtual environment.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or similar field.
