JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic Event Team as Field Support at our seasonal event venue! As Field Support you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless event operations from start to finish. This multifaceted position demands a blend of problem-solving prowess, effective communication, physical endurance, and meticulous attention to detail. As a valued member of our field support team, you’ll be immersed in various facets of event execution, including setup, breakdown, retail sales, admissions, and parking oversight. This per diem position offers flexible and varied opportunities to work on weekends and weekdays throughout our event season.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Set Up and Break Down:

Setting up event spaces according to the event plan, including arranging furniture, equipment, signage, and decorations. After the event, they will assist in breaking down and cleaning the area.

Assisting Guests:

Greet and assist guests, providing information about the event, directing them to specific areas, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Managing Logistics:

Oversee logistical aspects such as parking, crowd control, and ensuring that the event space remains safe and accessible to all attendees.

Aiding Event Managers:

Assist with various tasks as needed, such as distributing materials, managing schedules, and coordinating with other team members.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing. Excellent communication skills and friendly, customer-focused attitude. Ability and flexibility to handle unexpected challenges or changes during events. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet. Prior experience in event support or hospitality roles is preferred, but not required.
