The Events Associate is responsible for starting scheduled events for gaming participants and ensuring the execution meets standards provided by various game publishers. They are also responsible for controlling the event management software for purposes of participant enrollment, game matching / score recording, prizing, and submission of finished events to the corresponding game publisher. This position is a full time position reporting to our Events Manager. Job Requirements Eligibility to work in the United States. Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time without issue. Ability to operate a Windows computer. Familiarity with Google applications (GMail, Sheets, Docs). Good written and spoken communication skills (English). Ability to speak in front of a full room or crowd of up to fifty (50) people. Ability to count and handle money. Job Tasks Keeping themselves and other staff up to date with news regarding organized programs and opportunities for Greg’s Games product lines. The primary organized play programs Greg’s Games participates in are as follow: Digimon card game (Bandai) , Dungeons & Dragons (Wizards of the Coast) , Flesh & Blood card game (Legend Story Studios), Lorcana card game (Ravensburger) ,

Magic:

the Gathering (Wizards of the Coast) , One Piece card game (Bandai) , Pokémon trading card game (Pokemon Company International) , Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game (Konami) , Gundam trading card game (Bandai) Running daily events (Tues, Wednesday, Friday-Sunday) for customers to participate in. Ensuring that all events, their attendance, and results are reported to publishers so that Greg’s Games receives the appropriate type and amount of promotional materials needed to run organized play programs. Any other reasonable tasks assigned by ownership or higher management. Pay rate & benefits Annual salary of $33,280. This is equivalent to a pay rate of $16 per hour, with 40 hours worked per week for 52 weeks. Up to 132 PTO hours annually. Employees accumulate one (1) hour of PTO per fifteen (15) hours worked. PTO does not expire, but it does cap at 96 hours.
