The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the following departments: Creative Services, Community Relations, Ticket Office, Business Development, Game Presentation, Content and Public Relations. Duties & Responsibilities Support the development and execution of Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits marketing campaigns and programs Work with the Marketing Manager to develop promotional plans for theme nights and various initiatives throughout the season Coordinate and execute promotional needs with internal departments Submit creative requests for promotional materials; write clear and concise creative briefs with tailored messaging based on promotional platform Traffic the delivery of creative assets to internal and external partners/vendors Coordinate marketing-related promotional tickets and merchandise giveaways throughout the season Lead and manage the daily operations of Buffalo Sabres Kids Club program and assist with all events Assist with marketing game night responsibilities, including but not limited to: Fan events, special theme nights/giveaways and fan activations Assist with the management of media buys and trade agreements Assist in the execution of NHL marketing initiatives at the club level Other related duties may be assigned as required Minimum Qualifications for the
Position:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field of study 1-3 years of sports marketing experience Solid understanding of all forms of media (digital, print, outdoor, traditional) Previous sport experience preferred but not required Proficient in Microsoft Office Willing to work a flexible schedule – evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed Critical Competencies Ability to establish effective relationships across multiple departments and functional areas Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments and prioritize effectively Adaptable individual who can adjust quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles Team player and positive attitude Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills Organized and very detail-oriented Creative in approach and problem solving

Compensation:
This role is hourly and pays between $19.23 – $21.63 per hour.
