The salary range for this position is $72,000 to $82,000, plus overtime. We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the legal field and have demonstrated proficiency using applications favored by our firm. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the successful candidate will operate at the intersection of event support, marketing collateral development, and digital strategy—with a lot of responsibility and direct interaction with attorneys and firm leaders.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Coordinate in-person and virtual events that enhance client relationships, business development goals, and our firm’s culture and brand – including by sourcing venues, developing mailing lists, drafting invitations, tracking RSVPs, creating and editing presentation slides, providing presentation support, assembling handouts and name tags, identifying promotional items, handling shipments, and working registration tables. Perform Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event compliance tasks using CE Manager, including creation of sign-in sheets, distribution of teaching materials, and provision of certificates to event attendees. Coordinate event sponsorship deliverables and meet deadlines. Set up and distribute email marketing campaigns. Co-manage firm’s social media channels, including scheduling posts, designing graphics, writing copy, reposting, and monitoring KPIs Help attorneys leverage the firm’s blogs, including providing training. Review and report on blog post readership, website traffic, and other data analytics. Assist in tracking return-on-investment from marketing and business development activities. Update website and intranet. Draft summaries of attorney press hits and speaking engagements. Update marketing collateral materials (bios, practice group descriptions). Update contact management database (ContactEase). Design and produce advertisements and event signage. Assist in negotiating relationships with outside vendors. Maintain records of marketing and business development spending and budgets. Assist with RFPs, legal awards and rankings submissions. Order business cards for attorneys and staff. Assist Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager with other tasks as assigned.
SPECIFIC SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to manage and execute multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills ( writing sample and cover letter required ). Ability to communicate clearly and interact well with internal staff, attorneys, firm leadership, and clients. Ability to work independently (i.e., with minimal oversight). Strong problem solving skills. Must be detail-oriented (no typos!). Willingness to travel occasionally if needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of 1 year related experience in the legal industry. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, WebEx, Zoom, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (e.g., via Chat GPT, Claude, or Copilot) – with a willingness to learn new software and operating systems as required.
