$20/hour Cash job Who we are: Queens Party Hall specializes in delivering great efficiency and making those who book our venues a seamless and pleasant experience. We have been in business now for about 20 years and have 7 different locations that range from holding 80 guests all the way up to 200 guests. We specialize in intimate private special events such as Weddings, Baby Showers, Sweet 16s, Birthday Parties, Memorials etc. We do not do ticketed or public events and no events where alcohol is being sold, only given away. We specialize in providing people an ideal space for their next event with family and friends who are looking for a more economical option without suffering quality. We provide clients flexibility and give them the option of just renting the venue space with basic needs and letting them do everything themselves. We also offer additional packages and amenities they have the option to add on. We do not do catering but definitely can recommend vendors for clients if they ask. This position is a 5 day a week role where you will be assisting in giving clients who are interested in booking with us a walk through of the venue. You will be trained and we will make sure you are comfortable before having you show the venues alone.
Key responsibilities:
This is a sales job, you must be comfortable with listening and speaking to people. 10-20 hour a week role starting with ability to work more hours based on volume and how busy the business is Must have basic knowledge of our venues, as well as pricing to explain to clients. Being equipped to answer basic questions from clients about the venue Being able to properly explain our terms and conditions to clients at the time of completing a contract Being on time and reliable to show the venues at designated times Doing basic checks at venues while there and reporting to manager Communicating and working effectively with the venue manager You will be only responsible to give clients a tour of the venue, explaining pricing and giving them a paper contract to fill out and confirming payment made. After the sale is made you will provide them the manager’s number for all of their questions, and needs in regards to their event. You do not need to give out your number or handle the clients after the sale is made Ideal Timing and schedule The role would consists of showing up to the venue for open house to give clients a tour. Generally scheduling would be Monday-Thursday from 5:30pm-7:30pm and Saturday from 12pm-2pm. If you can handle one venue we may possibly give you another venue with more hours as well, if thats something you can handle. Room for
Growth:
This role is a very spare time role with room to grow in the near future. As we grow and open more venues, if it’s something you want to continue to grow with us can eventually become full time, with commission bonuses and incentives. The starting position as a booking sales associate and will be hourly only and the role will only consist of you really just showing the venue and booking.
