Education:

BA/BS Printing/Packaging/Graphic Arts, Packaging Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

Experience:

Minimum 3 year’s experience in CPG/graphics art industry.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Time % 60% of time: As the Design Traffic/Project manager, ensure timely flow of deliverables from all functional areas in the design process, through regularly scheduled status meetings with designers, Marketing and Packaging Graphics teams. Establish standard communication and tracking methodologies and ensure timely issue resolution. 20% of time: What is done: Independently manage design process for assigned projects, using electronic tools and systems. Ensure timely and thorough project communications with designers and Marketing teams. Review final packaging graphics in approval systems, comparing to released design art and following up on any issues to ensure quick resolution. 15% of time: What is done: Continuously improve systems and processes for managing In-House Design workflows, working with Sr Design Manager and Operations teammates. Recommend system changes/upgrades to streamline communications with process partners 5% of time: What is done: Responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge of systems, people and procedures that touch the In-House Design process.
