The Plan Counselor is responsible for achieving membership sales goals by engaging with prospects, conducting presentations, and acting as a key representative of the BeWell@Home program. The role involves generating and following up on leads, coordinating the membership process, and contributing to marketing strategies, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales and Relationship Management (40%) Achieve individual enrollment goals by managing leads, conducting follow-ups, and closing sales. Serve as the face of the BeWell@Home program during prospect interactions, presentations, and events. Identify and cultivate new lead sources and maintain relationships with community organizations and referral sources. Organize and lead educational seminars to generate and convert leads into memberships. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Reporting (20%) Maintain accurate, timely updates of all sales activities in the CRM database (e.g., Sherpa). Track leads and prospects, documenting progress and providing insightful sales reports to the Executive Director. Manage the membership process, ensuring integrity and adherence to policies. Identify and cultivate new sources of leads. Marketing and Feedback (15%) Provide feedback on advertising, promotional strategies, and pricing. Collaborate with leadership to refine sales, marketing, and admissions policies. Assist in identifying prevention, health, and wellness resources for program improvement. Professional Development and Expertise (10%) Stay informed about industry trends, environmental challenges, and competitive opportunities. Attend workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional societies to maintain technical and professional knowledge. Quickly master the BeWell@HOme program details, including financial arrangements and service offerings, to establish credibility as an expert. Compliance and Training (10%) Follow all HIPAA privacy regulations, maintaining confidentiality for residents and staff. Attend all mandatory in-services, meetings, and training sessions. Provide exceptional customer service through compassionate and empathetic care to patients and families. Other Duties as Assigned (5%)
Qualifications :
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience:
Three (3) years of sales experience, preferably in senior services, healthcare, or insurance.
Skills:
Strong conceptual and relationship-selling expertise. Excellent customer service and marketing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Sherpa). Analytical abilities for evaluating data and optimizing outcomes. Superior organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must be a licensed driver with a reliable vehicle for travel across the state of SC. Ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Independent decision-making skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods. Some overnight travel required.
