At Shoe Carnival, Inc., we’re in search of an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator ready to make significant contributions to our dynamic marketing strategies for our Shoe Station and Shoe Carnival brands. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. Reporting to a Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for executing marketing plans across both traditional and digital channels, with a strong focus on driving in-store traffic and enhancing the customer experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in executing marketing tactics, as well as planning and coordinating store events, ensuring timely and effective communication to store teams, and supporting flawless execution of initiatives at the field level. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Merchandising, Store Operations, Allocation, and Store Planning. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to execute projects in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Essential Functions Coordinate and execute marketing tactics across traditional (print, in-store signage, direct mail) and assist in digital (email, social media, web) channels to support overarching marketing strategies.
Plan and support the execution of store-level events and initiatives designed to drive foot traffic and increase customer engagement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams–including Merchandising, Store Visual, Store Operations, Allocation, and Store Planning–to align marketing efforts with business priorities and ensure seamless execution.
Develop and distribute clear, concise communication and execution guidelines to field and store teams, enabling them to successfully carry out marketing and event initiatives.
Work closely with external marketing agency partners to brief campaigns, deliver assets, and manage timelines to ensure all marketing deliverables are accurate and on schedule.
Participate in strategic marketing discussions by contributing ideas for effective, innovative tactics that align with business goals and enhance the customer experience.
Track, manage, and update marketing project timelines, deliverables, and calendars to ensure alignment and accountability across all stakeholders.
Monitor the execution of marketing initiatives across channels and provide feedback or adjustments as necessary to improve impact and consistency.
Maintain an organized library of marketing assets, project documentation, and communication records for easy access and reference.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with strong proficiency in Excel.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with professionals at all levels.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment with both internal stakeholders and outside agencies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines, and shift focus between projects / tasks, with strong attention to detail
Ability to analyze and interpret sales and customer data and make conclusions / recommendations.
