Applicants should have experience planning and executing paid media campaigns. We are looking for a highly organized, strategic thinker, who is a great communicator to work closely with client account teams, vendors, team members and digital platforms to plan and execute integrated multi-channel advertising campaigns. This person will plan and negotiate with traditional and modern platform vendors on behalf of our clients and MP&F, including researching placement options, managing client budgets, securing optimal media placements, and monitoring campaign performance. The ideal candidate resides in Nashville or is willing to relocate to the area.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Media Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with our clients’ marketing objectives and target audiences. Collaborate with internal teams to understand campaign goals and audience insights.
Media Buying and Negotiation:
Identify and negotiate with media vendors, including digital, print, broadcast, and out-of-home channels, to secure cost-effective and impactful media placements. Build industry relationships to negotiate favorable rates and added value.
Campaign Planning and Execution:
Plan media campaigns across various platforms, ensuring that all placements are executed flawlessly. Manage media budgets effectively and allocate resources to maximize ROI. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Data Analysis and Optimization:
Work closely with data team to utilize data analytics tools to track the performance of media campaigns, including key metrics such as reach, impressions, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Use insights to optimize campaigns in real-time and post-campaign analysis.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, marketing, and analytics, to ensure that media campaigns align with overall marketing strategies. Provide clear communication of campaign objectives and performance.
Vendor Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners. Stay informed about competitor strategies, emerging media platforms, industry trends, negotiating advantageous terms for media placements.
Budget Management:
Responsible for managing media budgets, ensuring that campaigns are delivered within budgetary constraints. Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure that media campaigns adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards. Generate comprehensive reports on media performance.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
2-4 years of work experience, with a minimum 1-3 years of experience executing multi-channel advertising campaigns Experience with traditional media plans including broadcast TV, cable, radio, outdoor and print Experience with modern media platforms including streaming TV and audio, online video, display, search and social advertising Attention to detail, deadline oriented, strong organizational skills Confident receiving feedback and a willingness to learn Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize technical details Works well in a fast-paced environment, and works well within a team environment Strong MS Office skills Experience in an agency environment, traditional media environment (TV, radio, cable), or digital media environment a plus Google certification and other digital platforms certifications a plus MP&F Strategic Communications is an internationally recognized, full-service integrated marketing, advertising and communications firm based in Nashville, Tenn.
