Job Description Overview
The Strategic Sales Manager Is Pivotal In Driving Revenue Growth, Securing New Client Partnerships, And Expanding Direct Hire And Contract Labor Opportunities. This Role Requires A Strategic, Relationship-Driven Sales Leader Who Can Navigate Complex Staffing Solutions While Fostering Long-Term Partnerships With Government And Commercial Clients. The Strategic Sales Manager Will Collaborate Closely With The Recruiting Team To Ensure Seamless Client Delivery, Positioning Moseley As A Top Workforce Solutions Provider.
This Role Includes Regular Travel To Client Locations And Periodic Visits To The Corporate Office As Required. Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Engagement
Develop and execute sales strategies focused on acquiring new business in both contract staffing and direct hire services.
Identify, target, and nurture leads through research, cold outreach, networking, and industry events.
Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients by understanding their business goals, staffing needs, and organizational challenges.
Present Moseley’s capabilities in staffing solutions, compliance assurance, and workforce management in a consultative and value-based manner.
Create and deliver proposals, presentations, and pricing quotes in collaboration with internal teams.
Account Management & Expansion
Serve as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and proactively identifying growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the Recruiting and HR teams to ensure successful placement, onboarding, and ongoing performance of contract and direct hire employees.
Attend customer meetings to provide updates on recruiting pipelines, project status, and performance metrics.
Maintain detailed account plans, track sales activities and client communication in the company CRM, and ensure timely follow-ups.
Collaboration & Strategic Planning
Partner with the VP of Professional Services and Director of HR/Operations to align sales strategies with operational capacity and workforce capabilities.
Share market trends, customer feedback, and competitor insights with leadership to drive strategic decisions.
Participate in internal strategic planning sessions and provide input on talent acquisition trends, pricing models, and customer service enhancements.
Travel & On-Site Engagement
Travel to client sites as necessary to establish relationships, conduct reviews, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction with staffing solutions.
Visit the corporate office regularly for planning sessions, team collaboration, and performance reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
20+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the staffing industry or professional services.
Demonstrated success in acquiring and expanding contract labor and direct hire accounts.
Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to communicate value-driven solutions.
Knowledge of staffing compliance, recruiting processes, and labor regulations is highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to client schedules.
Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms. Physical Demands
