Position Purpose:

The purpose of the Director of Business Development (Warehouse Automation) is to provide specialized knowledge, guidance, and leadership implementing, optimizing, and maintaining warehouse automation systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec Works safely at all times Automate storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) Robotics (e.g., pick-and-place arms, AMRs) Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Communication Skills – Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees. Language Ability – Talking to others to convey information effectively. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Automation Technologies Data Analysis and Reporting System integration (WMS with

ERP, TMS, MES

systems)

Position Qualifications:

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience Experience working with warehouse automation management systems Experience working with autonomous guided vehicles Experience leading and managing multiple projects Experience reviewing RFQs/RFPs Experience designing systems, ordering parts, overseeing assembly, and developing customized solutions Experience interacting, engaging, and gathering requirements from customers Experience working with budgets, estimates, sales, and building industry contacts

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job: Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces from 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
