Corporate Sales Manager Pursell Farms Sylacauga, AL 35151 Overview The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for proactively identifying, soliciting, and securing new business within assigned markets to meet or exceed established sales and revenue targets. This role emphasizes strategic prospecting and relationship-building, with a focus on expanding Pursell Farms’ client base and maximizing resort revenue. The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing—while maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with both prospective and existing clients. This position requires strategic thinking, persistence, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset. Key Responsibilities Primary focus of this position is to proactively solicit and capture new business through cold calling, targeted outreach, appointments, site inspections, and personalized communication to establish first-time client relationships Manage inbound

qualify leads, prepare proposals, follow up, and negotiate contracts in alignment with revenue goals Drive revenue by promoting and selling the resort’s full range of offerings, including lodging, banquets, activities, and venue rentals Conduct persuasive presentations and site tours to potential clients; entertain as appropriate to secure business Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, proposals, contracts, and account communications Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth planning, execution, and delivery of group services Prepare client correspondence, booking reports, forecasts, and internal communications in a timely and professional manner Participate in weekly GRC meetings, daily business reviews, training sessions, and pre-convention meetings Proactively anticipate and address client and guest needs and concerns Represent Pursell Farms at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to enhance visibility and drive business Stay informed of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to adapt strategies as needed Maintain consistent attendance and availability in accordance with company standards Perform additional duties as assigned Ideal Candidate Qualifications Strong network of relationships with meeting planners and hospitality professionals Proven success in achieving and surpassing room and banquet revenue goals Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred 3+ years of sales experience in a full-service hotel or resort environment of comparable size and quality Demonstrated success in hotel/resort sales, with deep knowledge of sales strategies and revenue management principles Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Opera CMS, and CRM systems such as Delphi Strong organizational and time-management abilities; able to prioritize and delegate effectively Ability to develop and implement action plans with measurable results Team player with a collaborative mindset Capable of working under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing) Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs (approx. 10% of time) Ability to walk the property and conduct site visits (approx. 60% of time) Standing required for up to 50% of time Primarily indoor work (90%); occasional outdoor exposure (10%)
