Senior Area Sales Manager:
  • Drive Business Growth
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing relationships within your established geographic territory/product line.
  • Build Lasting Client Relationships
  • Service and support existing Genex clients through weekly or biweekly in-person sales contacts that strengthen partnerships.
  • Discover New Opportunities
  • Prospect and engage TPAs, Insurance Companies, Self-insured employers, and Attorneys to identify managed care needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Represent Genex with Excellence
  • Attend industry conferences and events as our ambassador, creating connections that generate new business revenue.
  • Travel with Purpose
  • Strategically visit clients and prospects across your territory to maximize business development opportunities.
  • Create Winning Strategies
  • Develop and submit annual Branch Plans with your Branch Manager projecting growth from existing accounts and new business revenue.
  • Maintain Strategic Focus
  • Submit quarterly territory Blueprint updates and refresh account Action Strategies every six months.
  • Build a Robust Pipeline
  • Grow and maintain a monthly pipeline based on measurable financial goals that drive our success.
  • Collaborate with Leadership
  • Participate in bi-monthly pipeline conference calls with your Director, discussing closure probability for prospects at 75% or better.
  • Track Your Success
  • Complete daily activity spreadsheets highlighting your sales achievements and account management wins.
  • Deliver Compelling Presentations
  • Provide engaging product and service presentations that showcase our value proposition to both existing accounts and prospects.
  • Exceed Expectations
  • Maintain strong focus on achieving quarterly goals across all products and services established annually.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership
  • Strategize planning and territory management directly with your VP.
  • Win New Business
  • Participate in creating winning RFP responses that secure new clients.
  • Showcase Your Achievements
  • Prepare and present previous year’s results and upcoming plans at annual regional meetings.
  • Drive Team Success
  • Focus consistently on branch inventory against plan to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

  • Identify the proper direction for leads requiring local, regional, or national attention.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Sales experience preferred.

Industry Knowledge:

Workers’ Compensation industry knowledge preferred.
