Position Summary The District Manager (DM) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple Marco’s Pizza locations within a defined region. This individual will lead, coach, and support General Managers and their teams to ensure excellence in operations, customer experience, and financial performance. As a District Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing operations, and ensuring that each location meets its performance goals. This role requires an individual who can effectively supervise teams, manage profit and loss statements, and implement successful project management strategies. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the operations of 2 or more restaurant locations , ensuring alignment with company standards and performance goals. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop General Managers and Shift leaders to drive leadership capability and operational excellence. Monitor store-level performance metrics including sales, labor, food cost, and customer satisfaction , and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all brand standards, food safety guidelines, and local, state, and federal regulations. Actively participate in strategic business planning, meetings, and reviews with ownership and senior leadership. Partner with Human Resources to address and resolve employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and implement necessary corrective actions. Oversee staffing and succession planning within the district, including hiring, promotions, and performance management decisions. Collaborate on new store development , including site selection input and budget planning. Support marketing efforts and community engagement to grow brand awareness across the district. Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality in all stores. Perform regular store visits and operational audits to coach teams, identify opportunities, and maintain high standards. Required Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in multi-unit restaurant management, preferably in a quick-service or full-service pizza concept. Proven success managing at least 5 high-volume locations with accountability for P&L performance. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards, and back-of-house systems. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, delegate effectively, and drive results. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to travel frequently between stores within the assigned territory. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be able to work a minimum of 50 hours per week , including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience in pizza quick-service or full-service chains is a plus. Analyze financial performance, including profit loss statements, to identify areas for improvement. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, provide feedback, and support management teams.
