Our reputable dealership in Broward County is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to serve as the newest addition to our sales team in servicing customers at our Used Vehicle Superstore. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in automotive sales management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry. As the General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing, and implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Leadership :
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals and objectives. Motivate, coach, and mentor sales staff to achieve individual and team targets. Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the sales department.
Sales Strategy :
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the automotive industry. Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated business strategies.
Performance Management :
Monitor and evaluate sales team performance against set targets. Implement corrective actions and training programs to enhance individual and team capabilities. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Customer Satisfaction :
Uphold a commitment to exceptional customer service by ensuring a positive and memorable buying experience. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally. Work closely with the customer service team to resolve issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management :
Collaborate with the inventory and finance teams to ensure optimal stocking levels and pricing strategies. Monitor inventory turnover and recommend adjustments based on market demand.
Budgeting and Financial Management :
Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to make data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in automotive sales and finance management. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, market trends, and customer behavior. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Reynolds and Reynolds experience, a plus. Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and communication.
