Summary:

This growing Aerospace Parts distributing company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Military Sales Manager to lead sales campaigns and strategies for military aftermarket parts and services. This customer-facing role will focus on developing win strategies, managing inventory, and driving growth in the aerospace and military sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in military and government sales, coupled with exceptional commercial acumen.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market assessments and develop growth strategies for military and government
    aftermarket sales.
  • Lead efforts to identify market opportunities and create win strategies for slow-moving and obsolete
    inventory.
  • Collaborate with international and product sales directors to develop and execute aftermarket
    strategies.
  • Formulate pricing, deal structures, and terms, facilitating customer negotiations.
  • Drive annual pricing catalog processes to expand market share while maintaining profit margins.
  • Develop strategic upgrade programs and kit strategies with product and program managers.
  • Represent the company in high-level negotiations and strategy presentations to customers and
    stakeholders.
Job Requirements Qualifications:
  • Must have experience with Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS)-no exceptions.
  • Strong preference for Aerospace/Aviation. Military sales experience also acceptable.
  • Familiarity with Aerospace Parts (e.g., UA 60 Blackhawks).
  • Knowledge of
WAWF, PIEE, VSM.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Sales:

5 years

  • Inventory management: 1 year
  • Procurement management: 1 year
  • Broad understanding of DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and U.S. Department of State regulations.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience, preferably in military and government sales.
