The Opportunity:

You will lead a team of BDRsresponsible for identifying and generating pipeline opportunitiesfor ShipMonk’s mid-market and enterprise sales teams. This role isat the forefront of our growth strategy, focusing on buildinghigh-performing teams, implementing scalable processes, and drivingrevenue by capturing new opportunities in these pivotal segments.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Productto develop best-in-class outbound strategies, leveraging data,insights, and creativity to deliver results. We’re seeking a leaderwith a passion for coaching and a strong understanding of theoutbound playbook. Come help build our future sales stars.

KeyResponsibilities•

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and mentor ahigh-performing team of BDRs, fostering a culture of excellence,collaboration, and accountability. Set and manage performanceexpectations while motivating your team to exceed goals. Provideongoing coaching to refine prospecting techniques, messaging, andobjection-handling skills•

Pipeline Generation:

Own the outboundstrategy for generating high-quality opportunities in themid-market and enterprise segments. Partner with sales leaders todefine target accounts and prioritize efforts for maximum pipelineimpact. Monitor team performance metrics, including outreachvolume, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution•

OutboundStrategy & Execution:

Develop and implement outbound salesplaybooks, ensuring consistent and effective prospecting efforts.

Collaborate with Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and leadnurturing processes to support BDR success. Introduce innovativetools and technologies to increase the efficiency and effectivenessof outbound efforts•

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner withAccount Executives, Sales Ops, and Marketing to ensure seamlesshandoff of qualified opportunities. Align with Product and Salesleadership to ensure outreach is tailored to the needs andchallenges of target personas•

Data-Driven Decision-Making:

Establish KPIs and leverage data to assess team performance andidentify areas for improvement. Provide regular reporting on BDRmetrics, pipeline growth, and campaign effectiveness.

What You’llBring

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in sales leadership, includingmanaging outbound teams. Experience in SaaS, tech, or 3PLindustries is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in building andleading teams that consistently meet or exceed pipeline and revenuegoals
  • Ability to think big-picture while executing details todrive team performance and pipeline success
  • Skilled atcoaching, motivating, and building strong relationships with directreports and cross-functional partners
  • Proficiency in CRM tools(e.g., Salesforce) and outbound sales technologies. Experience withtools like Outreach or Salesloft is a plus
  • Excellent verbal andwritten communication with a knack for delivering clear, compellingmessaging
  • Comfortable analyzing performance data andtranslating insights into actionable strategies.
