PRIMARY CONTRIBUTION
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion across all of Staff Shop’s service lines, with a primary focus on the Search Solutions service line. As a foundational member of our U.S. expansion team, the BDE will play a critical role in establishing Staff Shop’s presence in new markets, with a primary geographic focus on the Southern and Eastern United States. This role leads full-cycle sales and business development efforts, securing high-value client partnerships and positioning Staff Shop as the go-to executive search and recruitment partner. The BDE specializes in consultative, value-based selling, leveraging Staff Shop’s proprietary Competency Compass Methodology to demonstrate the impact of strategic talent acquisition solutions. By identifying and converting new business opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and ensuring service excellence, the BDE plays a pivotal role in expanding market reach and strengthening Staff Shop’s brand as an industry leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development, Market Entry & Expansion Spearhead Staff Shop’s market entry into the U.S., with a focus on identifying strategic footholds, key accounts, and industry verticals aligned with our service offerings. Proactively identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for executive search and senior leadership recruitment solutions. Cultivate high-trust, long-term client relationships, ensuring ongoing engagement, referrals, and revenue growth. Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, aligning workforce planning and talent acquisition with their business objectives. Conduct high-impact sales presentations, negotiations, and client meetings to articulate the value of Staff Shop’s service offerings. Leverage networking events, industry conferences, and speaking engagements to build awareness of Staff Shop’s expertise and value proposition. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, effectively managing lead generation, follow-ups, and client outreach. Collaborate with service line leaders to align business development efforts with client needs and execution strategies. Operational Excellence & Strategic Sales Execution Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and hiring challenges, refining sales strategies to meet evolving client needs. Maintain accurate CRM documentation and reporting, ensuring full visibility into sales activities, deal progress, and revenue forecasts. Provide market intelligence, client insights, and business development recommendations to leadership. Ensure seamless coordination between sales, fulfillment and client service delivery to maximize client satisfaction and retention.

Annual salary based on experience, paid semi-monthly + eligible for bonuses. Eligible for health/dental benefits and other incentives after 3 months. Travel reimbursed at $0.55/km + 3 weeks’ paid vacation.
