Tampa Florida Responsible for the management of commercial loan origination, leads a team of Commercial Loan Officers Primarily responsible for the attainment of commercial real estate loans, deposit and ancillary product goals. Provides operational guidance and sales leadership to loan officers. Oversee the origination, processing, and sale of commercial loans. This position will spend time in our communities networking, doing business development and building relationships that help drive business to our Business Solutions team. The Commercial Loan Sales Manager works with members, credit union staff (including credit administration, quality control, compliance, outside vendors, and partners to achieve departmental goals. Will collaborate closely with the VP of Commercial Solutions to align with strategic goals and implement a plan to rapidly grow the size of our commercial portfolio.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

: Lead the sales efforts of the production group by recruiting qualified candidates, establishing production goals and monitoring performance ensuring that individual and group loan production standards are met. Develops the skills of staff through a combination of goal setting, delegation, training, counseling, and performance management ensuring that their jobs are being performed accurately, professionally, and within acceptable time frames, helping to achieve sales & member service goals. Develops preferred lender relationships through outside calling, contractors, centers of influence as well as other Sales leaders in real estate, investments, and stores. As a member of the Business Solutions leadership team, establishes strategic and tactical plans for the growth of the business deposits/loan portfolio and as well as the direction of the Commercial Lenders . Research recommends and assists in the implementation of new loan programs. Tracks and reports loan referrals/closings from the branches and other departments for payment of loan incentives. Provides positive leadership and guidance in general and ensures all employee performance reviews within areas of responsibility are completed fairly, accurately, and timely. Conducts regular one-on-one coaching sessions with individual members of the production team. Designs and conducts sales meetings with sales team in partnership with the Vice President of Commercial Solutions to ensure awareness and proficiency regarding all loan products and processes. Actively cross-sell other member services and track cross-sell efforts of loan officers. Ensure loan production is compliant with federal laws and regulations as set forth by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and other regulatory agencies, to include but not limited to HMDA, Fair Credit and ECOA. Responsible for executing the Business Solutions vision, current strategies, action plans and service standards as set forth by the VP of Commercial Solutions.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

: Demonstrate Financials Guiding Principles and leadership competencies through leadership and key initiatives, including the accomplishments of other stated objectives in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Ensures that the confidentiality of all information and transactions regarding the credit union, its members and employees, are held to the highest level of business ethics. Team member will be responsible for complying with all

BSA/AML/OFAC

regulation as required by their position. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

: Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited university is required 5 years related experience in commercial lending and sales required. 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience required. Ability to communicate effectively in writing, using proper grammar and spelling while conveying thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner. Has a good understanding of secondary market guidelines to include automated underwriting. Proficient mathematical skills, with a high degree of accuracy. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex tax returns, including corporate, partnerships and sub-s corporations. Effective leadership and negotiation skills with ability to adapt to change within working responsibilities, be it internal, market, or regulatory driven.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Remote work environment with the ability to travel within Tampa Bay. Sedentary role.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range•: $140,000 per annual •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
