Job Description:
At Regions, the Philanthropic Solutions Area Manager leads a team of professionals that specialize in serving the unique administrative, investment, and risk-mitigation needs of the nonprofit community and charitable products. Primary Responsibilities Utilizes a high level of expertise to lead a team of specialists in the Philanthropic Solutions vertical
Serves as a Philanthropic Solutions subject matter expert for all of Wealth Management, partnering across the footprint for key initiatives
Serves as a leader in the community, networking with prospective clients
Actively markets business solutions internally and externally which includes administrative, fiduciary and investment management services
Involvement in new business development strategies and retention of existing client relationships, maintaining a strong focus on prudent revenue growth
Assigns accounts and ensures relationships are managed according to policies and procedures so satisfactory audits and service standards are met
Acts as a resource to answer questions, review documents, and negotiate fees
Develops and coaches team members in all relationship development and client experience efforts
Maintains strong relationships with bank partners and other centers of influence
May also manage account relationships
Recruits, hires, develops, coaches and manages their team, ensuring Regions is building the best team and through proper staffing levels and diligent succession planning
Ensures prudent risk management strategies are in place, and business practices comply with internal and external policies, guidelines and regulations This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements Bachelor’s degree
Ten (10) years of Trust experience preferably in Philanthropic Solutions Preferences Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD)
Professional designations and/or certifications
Previous Investment Management or Philanthropic Solutions experience
Management experience Skills and Competencies Ability to effectively lead and manage a team
Demonstrates positive leadership/coaching skills and principles
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally
Proven and effective sales techniques
Skilled in applicable computer software, e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
