Full Job Description Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, driving revenue growth, and enhancing our reputation as a trusted provider of traffic safety solutions. As a key player in our growth strategy, you will be instrumental in expanding our customer base and driving revenue through new customer acquisition. This role requires a highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
Job Duties:
Identify, target, and engage potential clients in need of traffic control and safety solutions for special events, construction projects, and work zones. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction. Establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry partners to generate business opportunities. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects, from initial inquiry to project completion. Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding traffic control strategies, FDOT regulations, and safety compliance. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM tools. Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adapting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
Job Qualifications:
Proven track record of successful sales experience in the traffic control, construction, or related industry. Strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals. Deep understanding of traffic safety regulations, FDOT guidelines, and industry best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to meet client needs. Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset. Familiarity with traffic control services and regulations is a plus. Knowledge of FDOT regulations and permitting process is advantageous.
Physical Requirements/ Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Requires lifting and carrying of up to 15lb or more. Requires using hands to handle, control or lift objects with a strong grip
