Job Description

Sales Manager Confidential Fort Myers, FL 33908 We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales efforts across multiple channels. This role requires a versatile professional with experience in builder/developer account management, and in-home sales. The ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for training and mentoring our high-performance commission-based sales team, with a proven track record in one-call closing, managing both large commercial projects and small residential accounts. As a key leader within our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales strategies, providing inspirational leadership, and cultivating a culture of accountability, excellence, and personal growth. Drive Sales Performance:

Lead in-home sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue goals. Develop and implement strategic plans for maintaining relationships with big box retailers and builder/developer partners. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. 

Lead Generation:

Work directly with the Marketing team to align campaigns, messaging, and promotional efforts with grassroots lead generation strategies, ensuring full-circle visibility and engagement. Design, implement, and oversee a robust Lead Generation Program to ensure a consistent flow of qualified opportunities for the sales team. Train sales representatives on networking strategies, social media self-promotion, and personal branding to help them become their own best lead generators. Monitor individual and team outreach efforts, measuring activity and outcomes to ensure accountability and continuous improvement. Train sales representative to cultivate partnerships with key local and professional lead sources, including Interior Designers, Real Estate Agents, Boutique Builders/Developers, Community Influencers, and repeat/referral business. Champion a culture of relationship development, emphasizing the importance of repeat and referral business as a primary growth strategy. 

Account Management & Business Development:

Identify and grow relationships with developers, and builder partners. Negotiate contracts and manage long-term accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business. 

Sales Team Training & Leadership:

Train and coach, the Sales Team on the best practices, including 1-call closing Creating a sales team of focused, energized, successful individuals techniques. Develop and maintain sales scripts, objection handling strategies, and closing methods. Set performance goals and provide regular coaching and performance reviews. Having team exceed sales targets of new sales orders, closing ratio, and average order size. In collaboration with HR Operations- hiring, train and retaining new salespeople. 

Project Oversight:

Manage the sales pipeline for both small and large-scale projects. Ensure timely follow-up, client satisfaction, and coordination with installation and operation team. 

Reporting & Analysis:

Track key performance metrics and report regularly to Ownership. Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Specific requirements:

Must learn and be proficient in our systems, software, and be able to successfully sell our products/services in real world setting as part of on-going training exercises with the team. 5+ years of proven sales management experience, preferably in home improvement, retail, construction, or building materials. Demonstrated ability to train and lead a high-performing sales team. High attention to detail and commitment to procedures and policies (If this is not you, please don’t apply) Computer experience including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CAD, and CRM is a plus Strong customer service skills and precise follow through Expertise in 1-call close methodology and complex project sales. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. Background in home services, construction, or product-based industries. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
