MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pilates fitness knowledge/background preferred. Fluent in English. High school diploma or equivalent. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the owner may find acceptable.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required. Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training. Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system. Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday. Excellent communication skills via in person, phone, and email. Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Must have proficient computer skills. Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Drive & Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and closing sales. Contributing a minimum of 30% of total calls and productivity each day, and/or 40%+ calls and productivity per month. Contributing a minimum of 40%+ of new membership and EFT revenue per month Attend 80%+ of studio introductory classes monthly Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting an individual’s needs and wants. Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales production. Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider. Present available services to current or prospective members. Book quality appointments to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales quota. Freeze/Unfreeze memberships. Handle escalated customer situations Handle refund and cancellation requests Maintain appropriate supplies in the studio Retail inventory count at the end of month. Coordinate new retail with Retail Coordinator/Regional Implement a schedule of retail rotation with front desk staff. Implement schedule for 100/250/500 Club for members including ToeSox and certificates. Assist with Intro classes to maximize sales potential. Support staff by maintaining chalkboard, event posters and printed flyers in the studio. Work with front desk staff to assure all tasks are being completed. Meet with the Regional Team weekly. Coordinate, organize and host staff monthly meeting Creating and coordinating studio staff schedules Continuous education, support, and development of sales staff
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of Lead Instructor. Position requires variable scheduling, including a minimum of 1 night shift per week, 1 weekend shift per month. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. and be able to move/push equipment as needed. Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, work with fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear and perform essential functions. Visual acuity required. Prolonged standing. Must be able to speak and hear well enough to communicate well with others both one-to-one and in front of groups.
