Description:
Boater’s World Marine Centers is seeking a motivated and results-driven BDC / Sales Manager to lead and oversee sales operations at our Bradenton dealership. This is a hands-on leadership role combining traditional sales management with strong lead accountability and follow-up oversight, ensuring the sales team is working every opportunity to its full potential. If you have a background in marine, automotive, or RV sales—and enjoy coaching teams, closing deals, and making sure every lead is followed up with—this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the dealership’s day-to-day sales operations and business development efforts. Monitor and ensure consistent lead follow-up across all channels—web, phone, and walk-ins. Actively engage in the sales process, including desking, negotiating, and closing deals. Train and develop sales consultants to meet performance goals and improve customer experience. Hold team members accountable for CRM usage, lead response times, and follow-up frequency. Coordinate closely with the F&I department to streamline deal flow and maximize profitability. Analyze sales and lead metrics to identify opportunities and track performance. Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation strategies and customer outreach efforts. Foster a customer-first culture that promotes satisfaction, retention, and referrals. Support showroom operations, inventory management, and dealership events as needed.
Requirements:
3+ years in a sales leadership role at a marine, automotive, or RV dealership. Strong understanding of lead management, CRM systems, and digital follow-up processes. Track record of team leadership, accountability enforcement, and sales growth. Skilled in desking deals, closing, and customer negotiation. Highly organized and proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership software. Knowledge of boats and marine products is a plus, but not required. Self-motivated, energetic, and committed to team success.
