POSITION SUMMARY
SeaBreeze Vacation is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Reservations and Sales Manager to lead our reservations team. The successful candidate will excel at communication, have a strong drive to meet sales targets, understand basic computer systems, and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role is pivotal to our business’s success, focusing on team development, achieving reservation sales objectives, and enhancing guest satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the reservations team to achieve exceptional customer service and meet sales goals. Implement regular training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and career growth. Set and review performance targets, ensuring accountability and fostering continuous improvement. Cultivate a collaborative and positive team environment with open communication.
Operational Excellence:
Manage the reservation process, guaranteeing that inquiries are swiftly addressed and accurately fulfilled. Handle guest changes, cancellations, refunds, complaints, and special requests with efficiency and professionalism. Resolve complex reservation issues and provide solutions for any booking challenges.
Guest Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with guests to ensure an outstanding experience and foster repeat business. Follow up on guest inquiries and quotations to convert them into bookings.
Strategic Initiatives:
Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to elevate reservation processes and enhance guest experiences. Monitor and report on reservation activities, sales targets, and team performance metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in motivating and managing a team. Previous experience in reservations management within the hospitality or property management sectors. Proficient in sales techniques to effectively promote SeaBreeze Vacation’s diverse property offerings. Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competent in basic computer applications and reservation systems, including Breezeway and Streamline.
