Description:
Boater’s World Marine Centers is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the sales department at our Bradenton location. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll not only manage the sales team but also be actively engaged in selling boats and creating exceptional buying experiences for our customers. This position is perfect for a high-performing sales leader from the marine, automotive, or RV industry who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the dealership’s sales operations and staff on a daily basis. Actively participate in the sales process—greeting customers, conducting walkarounds, desking deals, and closing sales. Work directly with customers to help them select boats and products that meet their needs. Train, mentor, and develop the sales team to meet monthly volume and revenue goals. Desk deals, manage inventory, and coordinate closely with the F&I team to ensure seamless customer transitions. Monitor daily performance metrics and adjust strategies to drive results. Promote a positive, customer-centric culture that emphasizes repeat business and referrals. Assist in marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives. Maintain full compliance with dealership policies and applicable regulations. Communicate performance reports and dealership updates to senior leadership regularly.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales management within a dealership setting (marine, RV, or automotive preferred). Proven sales record with strong desking and F&I knowledge. Skilled at both leading a team and selling directly to customers. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching abilities. Strong computer and CRM system proficiency (Microsoft Office, dealership management software). Knowledge of boats and marine products is a plus but not required. Goal-oriented, team-driven, and highly self-motivated.
