Business Development Manager Recruitment Consultant Doral, FL 33178 The Business Development Manager will lead strategic and tactical efforts to increase enrollment and revenue through new business opportunities across multiple segments, e.g.: veterans’ groups, ESL partnerships, and continuing education. The role requires strong commercial acumen, networking skills, and the ability to work cross functionally with internal departments to align enrollment strategies with university goals. Main Responsibilities Design and implement a business development strategy focused on short-term revenue generation and mid-term growth. Identify and pursue B2C business opportunities through clusters and community outreach (e.g., veterans’ networks). Establish partnerships with ESL institutions seeking pathways for students. • Promote continuing education offerings to corporate and institutional clients. Collaborate with Admissions, Finance, Registrar, Academics, and Student Services to streamline processes that support business development goals. Monitor and manage sales budgets and performance KPIs, including revenue and profitability targets. Develop a strong internal and external network to expand SIU’s market visibility and opportunities. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales (experience in education or consulting a plus). Bilingual (English and Spanish) required. Ability to interact across multiple levels of the organization and with external partners. Strong commercial drive and goal orientation. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Meticulous and organized, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. High level of influence and relationship-building capabilities. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
