The Business Development Manager, Supply Chain Solutions isresponsible for identifying new business opportunities and keybusiness trends in an assigned geography and coordinating salesmanagement activities and functions for successful execution. TheBusiness Development Manager, Supply Chain Solutions providesterritory intelligence and is a key resource for the Supply ChainDivision and other departments of the company. The BDM identifiesforecasts and pursues sales opportunities through the sales cycleto the sales close. The BDM is a lead resource for the other BDMassociates and acts as the program expert in Supply Chain businessunit.
- Development of sales strategy for the assigned geography toachieve budget.
- Generation of leads and pipeline to achieve budget
- Development of moderate to complex supply chain solutions designto customer RFQs
- Engagement with key customer for questions / clarifications onrequirements
- Oversee assessment of options, cost analysis and profitability
- Prepare or review of proposals before submitting them, somelengthy proposals in Spanish and English
- Presentations to customers
