About the role DNV is seeking a Key Customer Manager who will lead the business development work for new Key Customers for which they are appointed for our Business Assurance North America. The Key Customer Manager will actively build relations with key decision makers and influencers in the Customer s organization and it s stakeholders. Enabling deep understanding and foresight of customer needs. The position is responsible for achieving sales targets. This role represents the entire range of company products and services to Key Customers. Responsible for the satisfaction and retention of Key Customer accounts, with an emphasis on increasing sales in line with assigned Sales objectives. Working closely with the Market & Industries Team, Regional Managers and Area Sales teams, with DASC leadership team, the sales network and operations, this position requires the ability to collaborate and achieve results sometimes through others. This role is 100% remote within the United States. What You’ll Do Actively build relations with key decision makers and influencers in the Customer s organisation and in stakeholders, enabling deep understanding and foresight of customer needs Develop an understanding of the Key Customer (and its subsidiaries and affiliates) needs and challenges in all respects, including its organisation, geographical spread, offering, business structure and environment and existing DNV relationships, as well as a sound understanding of the Key Customer s vision and values, financials and culture Coordinate business development and sales initiatives taking place in other DNV units in relation to KCs under his/her responsibility Contribute and participate in the design and roll-out of new services, providing inputs, ideas and collaboration to business development functions, including the definition of sales actions and the engagement of peers in their promotion Act as an ambassador of trusted partnership and accountable for the success and growth of our Key Customer relationships Work very closely with the Market & Industries function, DASC and CERT sales leadership teams, Area Sales Teams and the Sales network, to achieve business results, goals, and KPIs Achieve assigned Sales objectives in designated strategic account Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards Stay up to date on new technologies, market events/conditions affecting the industry and other competitive intelligence to better serve our existing customers, cultivate prospects, and untimely grow company s presence and increase revenue Collaborate on a regular basis with the Key Customer Project Manager(s) and Key Customer Account Officer(s) to proactively assess, clarify and validate contractual obligations, customer needs and resolution on an on-going basis Be responsible for applying price/rate/discount/T&C according to the current DNV procedural framework and Chart of Authority. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
