$83.6K – $100K a year 23 hours ago Qualifications CRM software Management Sales Mid-level Microsoft Office 3 years Electric vehicle production Business development Driver’s License Communication skills Full Job Description About the Role Taiga Motors is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Regional Business Development Manager to support dealer and channel development of our electric PWC business in the Southeastern United States. This role will be responsible for expanding our dealer and rental network, executing territory strategies, driving local demos and awareness events, and supporting the growth of the EV marine and powersports market. You will also act as a regional brand ambassador for Taiga, building long-term relationships with key partners in the region. This position is ideal for a self-starter with deep knowledge or interest in EVs, powersports, and marine products. You’ll play a key role in driving sales, increasing visibility, and helping advance electrification in recreational markets. This is a field-based position requiring a self-starter with strong interpersonal and sales development skills, ideally with experience in EVs, marine products, or powersports. This role involves travel up to 75% of the time (including some weekends, regional events, and occasional international trips). Key Responsibilities Dealer & Channel Development Prospect, pitch, and onboard new PWC dealers, rental operators, and service partners. Provide continuous sales, product, and aftersales support to regional partners. Train dealer and rental staff on Taiga product features, EV technology, and best practices. Support cross-promotional opportunities with existing Taiga partners and EV clubs. Territory Strategy & Execution Develop and execute market strategies for key areas in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Identify high-potential partners, events, rental and resort opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing campaigns, launches, and brand activation efforts in the region. Demonstrations & Customer Engagement Lead partner, public, and private demos of Taiga PWC products. Collect customer and partner feedback during demos and report insights to VOC and Sales teams. Partnerships & Community Engagement Build strong relationships with: Dealers, rental fleets, and marinas Hospitality groups and waterfront resorts Local EV and PWC owner communities Government and environmental agencies Influencers, media, and regional event organizers Represent Taiga and our sister brands (Vita Power, Evoy, Aqua SuperPower) at local marine, EV, and sustainability events as needed. Performance Reporting & Insights Track key sales and dealer performance metrics: leads, demos, conversions, dealer health. Maintain accurate CRM records, territory plans, visit reports, and partner feedback. Analyze and share regional data to help refine go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications Experience:

3+ years in business development, dealer management, or regional sales. Experience in powersports, marine, or EV sectors strongly preferred.

Industry Knowledge:

Understanding of PWC, marine, or recreational product sales and dealership operations.

EV Experience:

Experience or strong interest in electric vehicles and the sustainability movement.

Communication & Training:

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to train, influence, and inspire partners and customers.

Analytical:

Comfortable interpreting sales metrics and using data to improve regional performance.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Travel:

Must be available for regular travel and occasional weekend work for demos and events.

Licenses:

Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a trailer and tow vehicle preferred. Watercraft license or boating knowledge a plus. Why Join Taiga?
