Regional Business Manager 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Miami, FL 33134 Well established perishable Food Distributor is seeking a Regional Business Manager for the Southeast Florida market. Reporting directly to business owners, ideal candidate will be responsible for company’s expansion into the Florida market. Village Farms commands a strong market share in existing markets and possesses a strong product portfolio of well established national and regional brands. Primary focus is within the dairy and dairy alternative category, with expansion opportunities in all segments of the market spectrum. Candidate should have 7-10 years of relevant experience in the sales and marketing of perishables in South Florida. Of key importance is existing relationships and understanding of Independent and Specialty Retailers within the marketplace. Responsibilities include the initialization and efficient operation of a distribution facility, to include staffing and personnel management. Additionally, strong focus will be on the sales and marketing of company’s product portfolio to new and existing customers in South Florida. Position is for a career minded candidate that possesses an entrepreneurial spirit with long term growth objectives. College degree is preferred, but relevant experience will be adequate substitute. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a positive. Compensation is competitive and will be heavily performance based with potential for an equity position.
