  • _AdventHealth Orlando_ + Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando + Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America + AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country + We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year •The role you’ll contribute:•_OurLegacy is designated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as the only organ procurement organization (OPO) in east central Florida and is accredited by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) as a tissue recovery agency.

OurLegacy’s scope of operations extends to each of the following hospitals within the AdventHealth’s Hospital system: Altamonte, Apopka, Celebration, Daytona Beach, Deland, East Orlando, Fish Memorial, Kissimmee, New Smyrna Beach, Orlando, Palm Coast, Waterman and Winter Park. Additionally, CMS has designated OurLegacy to provide organ and tissue donation services to all non-AdventHealth acute care and critical access hospitals and free-standing emergency rooms in the following counties: Brevard, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia. The Manager of Multicultural Affairs and Partnerships will establish and strengthen respectful relationships with organizations and individuals in culturally diverse communities. She/he will demonstrate a genuine concern for the wellbeing of community members. She/he will develop outreach and educational programs in collaboration with the intended audience and will help coworkers at OurLegacy and associated hospitals to engage with culturally diverse communities. It is hoped that creating strong relationships will increase donor registration rates and donor authorization rates._

  • The value you’ll bring to the team:
  • + _Develop and implement goals, objectives, and tactical strategies for multicultural engagement and education designed to increase organ and tissue donor registrations.

_ + _Infuse planning and implementation processes with input from those who will be served and impacted._ + _Collaborate with Public Relations Manager to identify media opportunities and storylines, ensure cohesive messaging, as well as the appropriate usage of OurLegacy and Donate Life brand imaging in the development of video content and written collateral materials._ + Work with OurLegacy leadership and management teams to build DEI into donor family communications, routine hospital education, and OurLegacy new employee and rolling education offerings. + Monitor and report the impact of multicultural outreach and education programs through quantitative and qualitative measures in alignment with OurLegacy goals and mission. + Actively participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement meetings. Qualifications

  • The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed
  • :•+ 5 years of related experience + Bachelor’s degree in community engagement, education, social science, marketing, public relations, journalism, business, or related field + Master’s degree (preferred) + Experience with video management and editing + Fluent in Spanish and English, speaking and writing This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
